Bottled Waves carves out a space in the alternative rock scene in the vibrant music hub of The Hague. Their sound balances raw intensity with a sense of melodic reflection.

Since forming in 2023, the band has performed 40 shows across the Netherlands in, including notable stages like De Zwarte Ruiter, Kaderock, Prilpop, Zeeheldenfestival, and showcases during ESNS.

At the turn of 2025, they released a three-single EP which gained critical acclaim by 3voor12 Den Haag, with all three songs: The Nerve, Roses, and So It Seems landing the Free40 Indie Chart by IndieXL.

3voor12 Den Haag about So It Seems:

“While listening to the guitar intro and the sound explosion that follows, our thoughts roam to the bands like Pearl Jam, Soundgarden and Stone Temple Pilots. In the vocals of frontman Ron you can sense the hints of Chris Cornell.”

Their new release Indecent Exposure is a dark and unsettling reflection of the current times — lack of control about being involuntarily exposed to situations in which you don’t want to be in.

Bottled Waves feel like a late-night drive through misty streets, blending elements of grunge, shoegaze, and post-punk.
